Founder Paterson Wolfgram launched Ad Hoc Special Events in 2022 as a way to have a creative outlet. Corporate jobs pay the bills, but they are often restricted to boring brand guidelines or regulations. With Ad Hoc Events, Paterson can express her creative self while helping others build their dream event.
After earning her Masters of Science in International Event and Festival Management, Paterson worked in the festival route for a few months. Her favorite part was the creative activations brands put together to build a memorable and tangible experience. Seeing these activations are what confirmed her love for events. Paterson was fortunate enough to land an events role in the tech world, but she still wanted more.
In January of 2020, Paterson moved to Washington DC with hopes to expand her event knowledge further. As with all things, her dream of starting Ad Hoc was delayed due to the pandemic, but it allowed her to have more time to research and develop her skills and services. She currently resides in Nashville, TN where she is able to enjoy her love of music.
